End of life care
After a lifetime of love and companionship, the time may be coming to say goodbye to your best friend. If you are unsure if now is the right time, you are not alone.
Many pets will experience a mixture of good and bad days near the end of their life and that can make it difficult for families to know when to make a decision on their friend's behalf.
You may find an assessment tool a useful starting point. We have included a link to one of these tools below.

We also offer quality of life evaluations and can help support your pet with hospice care when appropriate. If you are unsure if hospice or palliative care might be appropriate for your pet, this article may help answer some questions.

Euthanasia can be a scary thing for both pets and their families. That's why our approach of gentle, patient focused care continues through the end of their lives. If your pet is in pain or anxious prior to their end of life visit, we can provide medication recommendations to help ease that discomfort. Your pet will also receive a combination injection of sedation and pain relief once they have arrived in order to provide further comfort and relaxation throughout the process. You will remain by your pet's side during this care unless you choose otherwise. We are here to answer any questions you may have about the process and what to expect but you may also find helpful information in this article.
